Egab was founded in 2020 to decolonize how the world understands the Global Majority through journalism, data, and expertise.

We work with 3,000+ local journalists across 100+ Global Majority countries to bring nuanced, critical, underreported stories to international audiences. Our 75+ media partners, including the Guardian, BBC, and AFP, gain access to verified, on-the-ground reporting from conflict zones and hard-to-reach communities, told by those closest to the story.
Our Global Majority Data Insights service delivers locally rooted research from communities most affected by the world's biggest stories but heard the least. We collect primary data directly from the source, helping organizations make better decisions grounded in local realities.
Our Global Majority Expert Network connects journalists and organizations with vetted local experts whose voices are too often excluded from international conversations, challenging the overreliance on Western commentators.
